Withdrawal Policy
Students may withdraw within 30 days from date of registration without penalty. If canceling after the 30 day grace period, a cancellation of contract fee of $25 is incurred. Students must give a 2 week written notice before canceling. This enables students on the waiting list to enroll.

Additional Polices

1. BE PROMPT. The early warm-up is vital for the safety of the dancers and the progression of the entire class.
2. ATTEND REGULARLY. The students progress and understanding of the materials hindered by absenteeism. All classes MUST be paid for; we cannot prorate classes due to absenteeism.
3. MAKE-UP CLASSES are available. Tuition will not be refunded or pro-rated unless the teacher cancels the class.
4. SECURE HAIR. Students hair should be worn off the face and neck to see proper spinal alignment.
5. NO JEWELRY. Jewelry can be dangerous to the classroom.
6. PROPER ATTIRE REQUIRED. NO Jeans. If there is a question on attire, please see the instructor.
7. NO GUM CHEWING. This is again for the safety of the student and classroom.
8. NO FOOD OR BEVERAGES in the classroom.
9. SNOW DAYS. When Dover City Schools cancel, The Backstage Studio cancels. When let out early for weather conditions, we cancel. When school is delayed in the morning, we will have classes.
10. CLOSED SESSIONS. No one will stay in the classrooms during class time.

A Costume deposit of $40 for each student in each class will be due the first week of October. The remaining costume fees will be split equally for the months of November and December. This enables us to order early so costumes will be delivered in plenty of time. Costume fees are non-refundable and non-returnable. However, if done early enough costumes can be exchanged for a differnt size with a $10 exchange fee. We will do our best to measure and order the appropriate size of all children. Alterations may be required and are the students responsibility. If total costume fees are not paid by the first week of December, your costume order will be cancelled.
